Citizenship is the position or status of being a citizen of a particular country and commitment has the power to help you grow and to be a better person. The Raven is a poem about the obsession that has the unnamed narrator to Lenore, the love of his life. In December one bleak night the narrator was reading an old book with a sad face because the love of his life Lenore is dead, so he Heard a sound from the door but he don’t pay attention to the sound, again he Heard the sound so he decide to go so see what happen outside, when he open the door nothing was there so returning to the room, he Heard a sound again but from the window but also get afraid and think that can be the wind, he open the window and when he open the window a raven enter into his room, this first cause funny to him and also he thinks that the raven can be Lenore because the ravens is a bird that represents the world of dead. He starts ask question to the raven like Are u Lenore? And the raven only answer nevermore he first think that the last owner of the raven has an unlucky life to teach the bird that Word, and he ask the bird are you good or bad? I’m going to see Lenore again? would u stay with me all my life and the bird only say “nevermore” so he gets angry and say my spirit always going to be with the shadow of the raven. I think that he is crazy he has to be patience and goa ahead with his life, it is really hard accept someone that you love die, but with time, step but step a person can do it. The author of this poem think choose a raven because this bird represents the world of dead, but first he going to choose a parrot and he thinks an animal that can talk but cant think and the raven was perfect. This is one of the most populous poem in English language, the raven was inspired in the bird of the novel “Barbandy Rudge” by Charles Dickens, and similar to the poem “Geraldine” by Elizabeth Barret, Edgar Allan Poe borrowed this same rhyming scheme for this poem The Raven, he dedicated the raven and other poems to Elizabeth.

I think that this two values  are show in the poem only in two aspects, the poem is about a dead love and how the dead love affect him, but I think that he has citizenship because the beliefs of his country are demostrated like the ravens represent the world of dead this is a typical belief of the place, and belief this things made part of the citizenship and commitment with Lenore the love of his life, because she dead but he still loving  to much her, this is a really model of love, it seems to me that he does not love himself does not help himself to get ahead with his life but that he does not want to leave the sadness,
The depression that Lenore's death brought to his life, is clear with the poem that he sings
for her that he loved her too much in all aspects and that's why he fell into this deep depression when she died,
it does not seem to me and I do not agree before thinking that he will come back, as if he was going to resurrect
he can look psychological help and not just go crazy for the arrival of a bird to his life that supposedly represents
the dead, there are many ways to help and get out of that sadness but you have to start with it and end with it.
If you do not help, nobody will help you in this life.

Self-Reliance essay

Patience, It is the virtue of those who know how to suffer and tolerate the ugly things that happen to them in their lives and overcome them with strength and without regretting or regretting anything.

This means that everyone in the world who has patience can calm wait for things to happen, that they do not hurry up with Togo and they think that things that do not depend on oneself should be given time, be very prudent.

The value of caring, is when you care About people,  when is important to you what happen with the other person no matter who is, this valué make you a good person with a gold heart. 

In self-Reliance Ralph Waldon Emerson does not show the value of patience because the protagonist does not have it, he is an impatient person, he is not prudent, he is not sure of himself. The protagonist says that envy is ignorance, imitation is suicide and also to follow society is suicide, he is completely against social pressure and everything that has to do with it.

But even so he cares a lot what people say his life revolves around that, for him it is impossible to ignore what all people say about him, he thinks that he had a bad life thanks to that and it was like that.

This character does not show patience at all, does not apply it in his life because he wants to solve everything that happens to him right away, when a problem comes to his life or a bad moment, a bad situation wants him to stir right away he gets too impatient and does not it's like that.

Everything has its own time, every situation that happens to human beings is solved, whether in a lot or a little while, but everything has a solution in life, the only thing that has no solution in this life in death.

The value of caring for this character matters a lot to the opinions of the rest, he stops doing things because people do not like the society, so it should not be that every person in the world has to do the things that want, you can not stop your dreams just because someone else does not like that is being selfish with yourself, a bad person. Nowadays society is badly damaged they do not care about anything or whoever gets ahead, it is very ugly what is lived today the lifestyle that human beings lead thanks to social pressure, all people deserve that take care of us, that they love us, that values ​​us is not fair that this protagonist likes to talk more with plants than with people. It is important to want everything we have, to be grateful people is important that each of the people in the world take care of the others is bad to be selfish and we all have to be patient to have a life in peace, a very good life especially full of happiness and be content with everything that surrounds us.

HOW JUSTICE AND FAIRNESS IS APPLIED IN THE POEMS


Justice and fairness are values ​​that means moral principle that inclines to act and judge respecting the truth and giving each one what is his due. In our daily life we ​​apply it with every moment, every action we do, in order to find the relationship of these values ​​in the two poems "A psalm of life" and "The Tide Rises, The Tide Falls", we must read All his verses very carefully because they use many metaphors and to understand them you have to put a lot of sense and attention.
The poems are written by the same author and for me given their way of expressing themselves they were very complex to understand, in "a psalm of life" I think the author focused on each of his verses in showing that live life in a good way, talk about that we have to be a better person every day, bring something good to the world always have a thought in the future, I think that when he tells us all this applies in the value of justice because Being a good person, better every day includes being fair in our daily to live, every day night. There is also a small prayer that I call a lot of attention and is that in the war of life we ​​have to be the heroes, one of the main qualities that characterizes a hero is justice and for me that is the relationship, although it is not explicit I really liked all the verses of this poem and how nice it is expressed because it is not demotivating as much if not the contrary is very encouraging.
In the poem "The Tide Rises, The Tide Falls", these values ​​are very complicated to apply in the Poems but in this I think that in the expression of the traces, which refers to the traces of your life, the good actions you do or anything you do if it is not fair, honest, very sincere you are erased. I like in this poem as in the figurative sense using, the beach, a traveling person and other things refers to life, the expression "The tide rides, the tides falls" for me represents the life of the human being, all things bad and good that this takes.
As I mentioned before it is difficult to find the relationship with these values ​​since they are figuratively both, so that the reader in this case I had to have a lot of patience and care when reading, they are great poems, they seem to me and they are curious about their metaphors, all their verses and the interest in knowing their metaphorical meaning.

TRUSTWORTHNESS AND THANKFUL.


The thankful value is be happy with what you have and what you get in your life; for big and small things, for what you have and you do not have and trustworthiness is be impecable with your actions  and other people. The relation between the thankful and trustworthnes in the story The Devil and Tom Walker, I think that the actions and the personality, their Words doesnt show this values.

In the story Tom Walker doesnt show the values thankful and trustworthiness because he is a bad, meager and miserly person, he have a miserly wife as himself. He treats bad his wife and have a bad relationship, boths were liars at the same time. Dont show the values by many reason like he is not thankful with all that he have like his wife, only live is a reason to be thankful, he only want power, riches a good life by a easy way so he decided to sell his spirit to the devil and i think that this is the main part that doenst show the thankful value and trustworthiness, when he sell his spirit to the devil he want to make a change, he give his spirit to the devil and the devil give to him all the riches and power that he want. If he since the beginning trust in God to go on with his life, God give the force to him to get out of the poor life and try to be a better husband, treat good his wife but he dont want, in the final he became a religious men, he was scared when the devil come to took his spirit to the hell, he was a very bad person in his all life and to go by the easy and bad way he live a miserly life.

Michael Forest.

Once upon a time a  thirty-year-old man named Michael, who worked

looking for precious metals to sell in his jewelry., One day he went to a forest that he did not know almost, the forest was dark and he was very tired, his eyes were closing.On the way he found a house in the middle of the forest he was very curious and decided to enter it, knocked on the door but nobody left so he decided to enter because the door was open. Inside the house there was only one bed and many pictures , as it was already very late so he decided to sleep. 

He woke up at 3 am very cold and a strange sensation in the body realized that the eyes of all the pictures of the house were looking at he dont pay attention, later he went back to sleep but a sound in his ear He said "get out of here, the house is mine" Michael scream  and the spirit dragged him to the floor, He wanted to run out of the house but the spirit say in his ear "You will die for not leaving my house " and the Spirit of the house,  was a man who had been killed because was Nazi in that place, the spirit buried a sword in the Michael chest.

 Colombia is a country in South America, the national flag has three colors: Yellow,blue and red. Colombia is a beautiful country with amazing places distributed in 6 regions. I live in the Caribbean region and is considerate for many people like the most attractive. In the Caribbean region, we can find many places like beaches, natural parks and places where people can have a very close relation with nature. For example, in the tayrona national park we find amazing beaches and we can go there with family, friends and have a good time. In the andina region my favorite city is bogotá, I like the weath, restaurants and the malls. Colombia has other 4 regions that I want to meet in the future. For example the. Pacific region , the city I want to go is Cali. I’ve heard that like has good places to go and enjoy. Also that the city has a good weather and is very good vegetation.  Colombia in the 2012 was the 21st happier country in the world. Many foreings come to the country because is one of the most visited in the world. The cities they prefer to go are santa Marta, Cartagena and Medellin,.

 Barranquilla is a city located in Colombia the capital of the Atlántico deparment, the major is Alex Char and is a good person for the city. Barranquilla is a touristic city we have Carnivals 4 days of party and all the years is a different queen of the carnivals, this in Barranquilla is a tradition and who don’t like carnivals is cachac. This small city has too much places to enjoy, restaurants with a delicious food and has for all the types for all the tastes of the Barranquilleros a famous restaurant is Cucayo that sell typical food,beers and more . For this 2018 Alex Char made changes like the stadium, the area of bicicross, he fix all the streets for destroy the arroyos that kill people and cars, houses affect too much the poor people and not is safe for the Barranquilleros. Barranquilla is a happy city that progress slow, has good universities and schools like Universidad del Norte, the Colombians of the country come to Barranquilla to study in Univerities because the educations is good, the lifestyle in Barranquilla is very good and I can say not but I love my city with all the defects

My neighborhood is  very big. We find many buildings here and many big houses. For me, my neighborhood is very boring because all the people that live here they are so old. I have lived here all my life and i love my house.   We have near to home a big park called  “ sagrado corazón”, an a very big church called sagrado corazón de maria that is very visited for other people from other neighborhoods. I go to the church on Sundays with my mom and my sisters. My house is located in a street that is very quiet, no busses and no so many cars passing by . The people who live next to my door, they are so old so I don’t talk too much with them. The only one who talks with the is my mom because they assist to a prayer group in the front house. 

In my mother’s birthday all the neighborhood come to the house, and they share histories.  Some neighbors are  so gossip, and they tell everything to others. That’s one reason why I don’t like talking to them. But I love my house because I have lived here since I was a baby girl.

Hello, My name is Fiorella, I´m 15 years old. I´m in 11th grade in Lyndon B School.  I live with my family which is conformed by my parents, my 2 sisters and my dog Cookie. I am the little sister and everybody love me at home. My parents they both work and are lawyers. My two sister are studyng, the oldest finances and the other medicine. I really enjoy family time, specially going out with my sisters.  My favorite activity is watching series on netflix and going out with my friends.  

 I like my school because I learn many things daily and I enjoy with all my friends. I like to participate in some school activities like christmas show.  My favorite music is Pop and regueton and I also like to dance very much but i dont do it well.  My favorite singer is Shakira, I know many songs of her specially hips don´t lie which I also like to dance.  Other singers I like are Carlos Vives and Fonseca.

 My favorites signatures on school are social and spanish. When I graduate I will study Psichology, I like very much this career because this is a way to help other people in trouble. I want to be a excellent profesional.
